Welcoming Baby Vogi #2
- First, thank you for caring enough to visit our website.
- Baby Vogi (the second) is due on March 8, 2018. Thats when she came
- No, we do not know the gender. It's a GIRL!
- Yes, we do have names picked out for both genders.
- No, we will not be sharing those names (when picked) until the baby arrives. We will share her name after we celebrate our growing family on Sunday March, 18. Once we share with those who can join us in person we will send out an email.
- Yes, at the request of family, we have put together a few registries to supplement what we already have from all the generosity you showed us the first time around. Consistent with family traditions, please do not send gifts until the baby arrives. (feel free to get any of this at a local store)
- No, we are not crazy. "When we were kids...." Yea, yea. We, hear ya grandma so we are going to do (or try to do) some of this baby raising old school. Like, really OLD old school. So if you see some items on our registry that surprise you (cloth diapering accessories), that's why. If you have questions, ask us. Or ask your grandparents.
- Yes, we would love suggestions if you think we missed something.
- If you are here, you already know we like to do things with an eco-conscious approach. This has struck fear in the hearts of family members who think buying gifts that are not on a registry will be impossible. With that in mind, and at the request of Mike's dad, we put together a short list of things we consider when shopping for our new addition. We would appreciate your considering the same if shopping for our new addition.
- We may have moved to a bigger place, but with a growing family space remains at a premium. We also are steadfast in our belief that socializing and experiences (even mundane) are a key way to show our children love. We also know a lot of you will be thinking about Havivah at this most joyous time. With that in mind, we respectfully request that, rather than bringing Havivah a toy that she will inevitably discard at the rate she is developing, you spend some time making her feel like there is still a lot of attention on her. And if you can't be here in person to remind Havivah how awesome she is, no worries, next time you see her you can take her to the park or for a treat.
